Tamilnadu Aptitude Test in Architecture(TANATA 2017) is conducted by the Anna University. It enhances the admission to B.Arch Degree Programme under management quota and Government quota lapsed seats for the year 2017 – 2018.
Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture 2017 measures the aptitude of the applicant in the field of Architecture. The test makes an assessment of drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity, mathematics and critical thinking ability.
TANATA is only valid for admission during the academic year 2017 – 18.
The candidate should pass the eligibility criteria to appear for the examination. The candidate should secured minimum 50% of marks

The schedule of TANATA exam starts from the commencement of Online application filling on July 24, 2017. The last date to fill in the online application is July 31st, 2017.

Exams will be conducted in Tamilnadu circle and totally six different centers were chosen. It is chosen in such a way that it connects all the parts of Tamilnadu and offers a good commute to the students location.

The exam consists of two parts one with Mathematics and General Aptitude and the other Drawing test. The syllabus is designed purely to check the candidates ability to study Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

Result and Merit Rank
The examination result will be announced by the Anna University on August 18, 2017. Marks obtained out of 200 and in each component.
