Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE 2018) examines the knowledge of students in Under graduate studies such as Engineering and Science. Indian Institute of Science(IIS) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology(IIT) together conducts GATE on behalf of National Coordination Board, Department of Higher education, Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India.
Several Indian Higher educational institutes uses GATE score for their admission. It is also used by several Public Sector Undertakings for recruiting entry level graduate engineers.
International institute Nanyang Technological University, Singapore recognizes the GATE score for its admission.
The minimum eligibility to apply for the GATE exam 2018 is a Graduation in Engineering or Science degrees. The candidate doing their final year in graduation are also eligible to appear for the examination.

GATE online Application Processing System(GOAPS) opens for enrollment to GATE exam 2018 on September 01, 2017. Application will be available to apply online till October 05, 2017. Admit Card availability date announced, Visit Important Dates GATE Exam 2018.
Application Fees for Exam
The application fees for GATE Exam 2018 differs on the basis of the Centers in which candidates appear for the examination. For centers in India ₹750 for Female Candidates and for male it may apply up to ₹1500. Candidates appearing for the exam in centers outside India have to pay in the rate of USD($).
